Somebody told me
That you moved on
That's when I realised
You were actually gone

The tears have started
To feel a little wetter
My heart shattered again
Just when I was getting better

Somebody told me
You found someone new
Moreover, she is
Someone I knew

My feet tread heavier
As I think about the days
Sharing a blanket in Decembers
And ice cream in Mays
—
Somebody told me
You’re happy now
Away from me
Still content somehow
—
And I still miss you
Hoping you do too
Even though somebody told me
I’ve already lost you
